KAREN DALTON

Compositora y guitarrista de 12 curdas y banjo de culto en el "Revival" de los 60 al Folk en Nueva York. Ella era bien conocida en el circuito del Greenwich Village. Cercana a Dylan y Fred Neil. En canción folk ella recordaba con su voz a Billie Holliday. Se dice que The Band le dedicaron "Katie's Been Gone" en el disco "Basement Tapes". Karen Dalton grabo un par de versiones soul "how sweet it is" y "when a man loves a woman".
 Solo grabo en vida dos LPs en 1969 y 1971.
