Una de las figuras mas enigmaticas en la historia del Rock. En 1964 se monto el trio de origen Californiano The Walker Brothers que duraria hasta el 67.
Scott Walker se lanza en plena British Invasion olvidandose del R&B del momento y hacercandose al estilo crooner de Frank Sinatra o Tony Bennett, incluso Jaques Brel.
Sus cuatro primeros LPs son extraordinarios y consiguen el Top Ten en Inglaterra.
Estuvo invernando muchos años aunque hizo Bandas Sonoras y discos de Avant Garde atípicos.

Su discipulo David Bowie produjo recientemente un documental sobre su vida. Todavia hoy aparece su secuela e influencia en artistas como Pulp, Richard Hawley o The Divine Comedy.

Scott Walker is the stage name of the American musician, Noel Scott Engel (born January 9, 1943, Hamilton, Ohio) and former lead singer of The Walker Brothers. Despite being American born, Walker's chart success has largely come in the United Kingdom, where his first four solo albums reached the top ten. He continues to release solo material and is currently signed to 4AD.
